Teleo Design was engaged to confirm the structural adequacy of the PT Blink system for the Mezzanine Platform – Loam Street, Acacia Ridge development in QLD. The project involved the installation of a new mezzanine level within an existing warehouse as part of a brownfields upgrade.

The mezzanine structure was conceived using modular flat-pack steel components, manufactured offsite and delivered in transportable modules for systematic assembly within the constraints of the existing warehouse.

The PT Blink system was deliberately selected to maximise construction efficiency, reduce onsite labour intensity, and accommodate staging within an operational brownfields environment. The efficiency of the composite structural system was particularly suited to the high live load requirements associated with vehicle storage on the mezzanine level.

Teleo’s scope included structural adequacy review, detailed design, and construction support, ensuring integration of the mezzanine within the existing building envelope.
