Origin

Teleo Design Pty Ltd is a professional Engineering firm providing mechanical and structural engineering design services to various industries. The company was born from Teleo Engineering Pty Ltd which was incorporated in 2006. Teleo Design began its operations as a separate business in 2014. Teleo Design is based with its main office in North Ryde.

Our professional engineers are chartered Australia and Queensland. Our Design specialties include Mechanical, Structural and Process Design. Teleo Design also provides design verification services along with certification. We offer our valued services to clients from small to large industrial applications as well as the mining industry.

Health and Safety

Teleo Design recognises that Workers Health and Safety (WH&S) is as important as our commitment to other business objectives and is committed to the health, safety and welfare of all employees and aims to provide a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Teleo Design strives to be a leader in health and safety, and is committed to following practical tested principles to avoid, reduce, control and manage the factors contributing to the health and safety of our employees and clients at our office and on client’s sites.

Teleo Design has implemented the following practices for (WH&S)

Leadership

Eric Hooimeyer, CPEng, RPEQ

A Structural and Mechanical Engineer with over 25 years experience in the engineering industry, with a focus in mining and heavy industrial projects. He has worked on projects through out Australia, Asia, Africa and the Americas and managed engineering design teams consisting of  engineers and draftspersons in multiple locations. He has worked as a design engineer on major projects, several in excess of $100M and is an author of technical papers on Paste Thickener Technology. He possesses analytical skills using FEA modeling packages and has undertaken the design of steel structures, stainless steel design, large tankage, pressure vessels, product development, and design standardisation for minerals processing equipment.
